Many organizations have identified gender equity as a priority, but struggle to know where to start or what to do next. This session will provide an opportunity to discuss current trends and best practices relating to activities engaging women and girls as participants and leadership in recreation, sport and beyond on. We are pleased to have Allison Sandmeyer-Graves, CEO of Canadian Association of the Advancement of Women in Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) provide updates on new initiatives and resources available from CAAWS to support communities.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation and understand our ability and responsibility to influence positive change in meeting the unique needs of women and girls in sport, recreation and physical activity.
